Martial Arts

Tournament Date: Starts February 1, 2023, To February. 25, 2023.

 Dear Parents/Students,

I hope this letter finds you all doing well.

Our school will be hosting an online event in February.

The Tournament Runs From, The 1st to the 25th.

Awards will be presented at our Free Pizza Party at CC's Pizza. (Day and time TBA)

Your children may invite two friends to our Pizza Party that voted for them in our competition.

For those who have not participated in one of our Online Virtual Tournaments, you will need an annual membership to the competition platform, which also includes your first event fee. The membership fee is $45 at the time of registration. You may pay using a Credit Card or PayPal account. Students already registered; your entry fee for this event is $25.

Please Note: Before going to the Calendar to join the tournament, you must be logged in to the platform. Once logged on, return to the Calendar in the month of February to join.

Voting for videos will be done by Students, Family, and Neighborhood Friends. Student's competitors must be registered under their own EMAIL, and persons voting for them must be registered under their own email address. We suggest GMAIL if you do not have an email address for your child or yourself. They are free to acquire.

In this tournament, we are competing only with our own students. However, at times we will be competing with other schools. With your membership, your child will be enrolled for a year from the signup date.

Getting The Video

Please Note: Your children have already made their videos with me at the studio. Here is the website to log on and register as a competitor. For members, just sign into your account.

Please Note: Only videos posted in the child's Admin and sent to be reviewed will participate in our tournament.

Once that is complete, you can go here. WBKYouTube This is the YouTube Channel for our school. You can use the tiny "magnifying glass" found below my name to find and get the URL of your Childs Competition Video by searching their first name.

Once you have the URL go back to the WBK Platform to login. When your Child's admin opens put the URL in the appropriate field.

Please note: All videos must be on the website before February 1 to be included in this competition. Getting your videos up sooner gives you a better chance of winning, as voting starts immediately after your video is viewable on the platform. The videos are scored by the "Most Accumulated Stars Votes and Views" along with Executive Votes by real Judges.

Getting your videos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are all helpful in getting your videos noticed. Good Luck!

Please Note: By competing virtually, we are allowing our students to learn how to PROJECT themselves in person and in media as they increase their martial arts skills and build confidence. Students will also be introduced to the art of Movie Making, and who knows where that can lead them in their future.
